  Class Shock Anaphylactic / Emergency Medication  
  Description Alpha/beta agonist  
  Indications/Dosage

Restoration of cardiac rhythm in cardiac arrest, Stokes – Adams syndrome, Anaphylactic shock, Hypersensitivity to reactions.
Bronchodilation: Subcutaneous, 5-10minutes.
Bradycardia: IV 0.01mg/kg every 3 to 5 minutes (Maxiumum 1mg/10mL)
Hypersensitivity Reactions: SC 0.01mg/kg every 15 minutes for 2 doses, then every 4 hours as need  (Single dose not to exceed 0.5mg)
Oxidation turns drug pink, then a brown color. Discard the solution, if it has changed color or contains precipitates.
